Activated Charcoal is a highly dense and super- porous form of charcoal, which can be made from raw materials like coconut shells, bamboo, walnut shells and other woods.
Unlike regular charcoal making process, Activated Charcoal is produced by heating the desired wood or shells at a very high temperature in a furnace in the absence of oxygen. This creates millions of tiny pores on the charcoal's surface.
Imagine a microscopic sponge with countless tiny holes. That's activated charcoal. Its vast surface area acts like a magnet, capturing and trapping impurities, Odors, and moisture.
